Kinderspot has been developed as a mobile application and web admin portal to facilitate short-term rentals of child care spots at participating Department of the Air Force Child Development Centers (CDCs).

KINDERSPOT AS A MOBILE APP

The Kinderspot mobile application allows military and DoD civilian families to offer and rent short-term child care, in weekly segments, at participating CDCs where they are verified spot holders or renters. These offers and rentals can be managed within the app, and cancelled according to the Standard Operating Policy. This app aims to support users with their child care needs when they are on temporary duty assignments, leave, relocating to a new base or being called in for reserve duty.

KINDERSPOT AS AN ADMIN PORTAL

The Kinderspot Admin Portal is a web application that allows select CDC administrators and staff to gain access to view and manage children who indicate they hold a spot at their CDC, and those requesting to become verified renters at their CDC. They will also be able to view incoming children who are renting a spot at their CDC, and the child whose spot they are temporarily taking. Only Admin will be able to view the full name and age range of the children, as well as the user’s full name and email address associated with the Kinderspot App account that this information is coming from. Admin will have the ability to cancel upcoming offers or rentals, and see a history of all cancellation actions at their CDC within the admin portal.

"User" means those who voluntarily give information about themselves when signing up for the mobile application.

"User data", "data", or "information" refers to information that includes first name, last name, email, password, child/dependent first and last names, and age range categories that are collected through the app or admin portal.

"Administrator" or "Admin" refers to CDC admin or staff who voluntarily provide their email address to allow them rights to verify and manage users of the Kinderspot App.

"We" refers to the BESPIN Kinderspot USAFA Team.

"You" or "anyone" means any user using the app or admin panel.
